My career in the construction industry started years ago in England, where I spent a few years after leaving school. Here I started learning the trade at entry level, by mixing cement and working as a construction hand on building sites. This was a solid basis to build up my skill set. When I returned to South Africa, I worked for a company that not only did construction, but also focused on hard landscaping such as paving and decks. I noticed that the general standard in our construction industry was low and saw a huge gap in the market for great service. About eleven years ago, I felt confident enough in my skills and experience to take the plunge and branch out on my own.
I started out slow, with small projects, but they steadily grew to expansive projects as my construction crew and knowledge grew and I built up relationships with trusted suppliers and subcontractors, including plumbers and electricians.
Today I am confident that my team and I can successfully complete just about any building and renovation project, with
testimonials from satisfied clients to prove it. I can offer my clients guidance in selecting reputable service providers and I pride myself in offering great service and clear, transparent communication before and during the project.
